Subject: RE: [wsbpel-uc] Groups - New Action Item #0001 Provide guidance/thoughts on the proper use of the term "Use Case" vs. "Scenario"

John,

Just a minor correction to the comments section.
It wasn't I who expressed concern about your usages of the terms,
scenarios and use case. I think it was Chunbo.
I was more concerned about distinguishing between requirements and
scenarios/use case lest we morph into another requirements group
overlapping
with the issues/requirements group.
However, I will work with Chunbo to offer some thoughts on defining:
scenarios, use cases, requirements.

Yin Leng

WSBPEL Use Cases List member,

John Evdemon (jevdemon@microsoft.com) has created a new action item.

Number: #0001
Description: Provide guidance/thoughts on the proper use of the term
"Use Case" vs. "Scenario"
Owner: Yin-Leng Husband (Yin-Leng.Husband@hp.com)
Due: 25 Jul 2003

Comments:

Yin-Leng expressed concern about my rather casual use of both terms. To
avoid causing confusion our group should come to an agreement on the use
of these terms. Yin-Leng and Chunbo have both offered to provide some
thoughts and ideas in this area.
