[17:12] <BerndEckenfels> monica: try /nick monica

[17:12] *** guest431 is now known as monica

[17:13] <BerndEckenfels> current discussion: issue list needs fixed location which is currently not possible with kavi

[17:15] <BerndEckenfels> peter is offering to recieve new issues private to him in email cause of list limitations

[17:23] *** monica [~@127.0.0.1] has quit ["CGI:IRC (EOF)"]

[17:24] <BerndEckenfels> moving forward to use case subgroup

[17:25] <BerndEckenfels> subgroup was quite but UCC is doing some work here and uc group would like to include that "simple eb"

[17:26] *** srinivas_p [~@127.0.0.1] has quit ["CGI:IRC"]

[17:26] <BerndEckenfels> ucc has bpss work done in this project

[17:28] <BerndEckenfels> monica ofers to be focus point for BPSS liasion, which is next agenda point

[17:29] <BerndEckenfels> john tells us: cefact /tmg would be a good group for liason, too

[17:35] <BerndEckenfels> john+monica can post some summaries on ucc and ebxml and tmg

[17:36] <BerndEckenfels> sally suggest to have a glossary

[17:37] <BerndEckenfels> should be a group work

[17:39] <BerndEckenfels> hp did a presentation on general terminology and tech

[17:45] <BerndEckenfels> tmg has a lot of paper, so maybe in addition to the methodology, groups who actually apply umm may be another good liason, like tbg(?)

[17:49] *** dannyv [~@127.0.0.1] has quit ["CGI:IRC (EOF)"]

[17:49] <BerndEckenfels> dieter has now news on the editing team side

[17:53] <BerndEckenfels> speaking on the open bpel-dev list now, because the question is if we need a subgroup

[17:56] <BerndEckenfels> sid is asking if we do too much adminsitrative and too less technical talk in the confcall

[17:57] *** dannyv [~@127.0.0.1] has joined #bpel

[17:58] <BerndEckenfels> sid asks if we need a technical or adminsitrative sub group

[17:58] *** Rand [~@127.0.0.1] has joined #bpel

[17:59] <Rand> Hi guys, sorry I'm so late. I'm tuned in, can someone say where we are in the agenda?

[17:59] <BerndEckenfels> we are on the implementation subgroup - but drifting off to "are we discussing to much policy"

[18:00] <BerndEckenfels> it is 7 on the agenda

[18:01] <Rand> thx - so, did we agree to proceed with the proposed process for issue mgt?

[18:01] <BerndEckenfels> dieter on: link semantics of event handler

[18:01] <BerndEckenfels> rand: yes, we aggreed with the exception that we rais new issues by private mail

[18:02] <BerndEckenfels> and need link and mail alias for the issue list

[18:05] *** Rand [~@127.0.0.1] has quit ["CGI:IRC (EOF)"]

[18:06] <BerndEckenfels> issue 32 - is it allowed to have a link from handler to process

[18:07] *** Rand [~@127.0.0.1] has joined #bpel

[18:08] <BerndEckenfels> dieter will look into the outgoing link and serializeable

[18:11] <BerndEckenfels> discussion: callback-race-condition: dieter agrees it is a issue

[18:11] <BerndEckenfels> discussion: do we need to kill undeterministics out

[18:12] <BerndEckenfels> monica asks for examples

[18:12] <BerndEckenfels> (will ask for)

[18:12] <BerndEckenfels> dieter states that loops are "smelly" .. <http://seedebrlin1.seeburger.de/cgiirc/images/happy.gif>

[18:13] <BerndEckenfels> i.e cyclic process -

[18:14] <BerndEckenfels> frank assks if we gear towards BPM or executable scope

[18:15] <BerndEckenfels> idea: state that it is a execution language, modelling may require differernt articulations, so this is not the main goal

[18:22] <BerndEckenfels> in the last call satish offered a goal document , and this will be finished after his vacation, which might help with prio

[18:22] *** jevdemon [~@127.0.0.1] has quit [Remote closed the connection]

[18:23] *** jevdemon [~@127.0.0.1] has joined #bpel

[18:24] <BerndEckenfels> frank suggests to have a justification for all language constructs in the goal doc

[18:24] <BerndEckenfels> on request of sid

[18:24] <BerndEckenfels> timeline: satish' ok is missing

[18:26] *** dannyv [~@127.0.0.1] has quit ["CGI:IRC"]

[18:27] <yaron> I don't think I sound like Jef.f?

[18:27] *** TonyF [~@127.0.0.1] has quit ["CGI:IRC (EOF)"]

[18:29] <BerndEckenfels> eliverables discussion

[18:32] *** dannyv [~@127.0.0.1] has joined #bpel

[18:32] <BerndEckenfels> if a resolution of an issue requires a spec change, this will trigger editor action point

[18:33] <BerndEckenfels> discussion on quorum: do we need to kick out idle members to ensure we are on quorum

[18:33] <BerndEckenfels> jeff suggest to apply the attendees rule - john follows the rules in sending out wanrings

[18:36] <BerndEckenfels> we are right now 52 ppl on the call - but john does not know if we have quorum right now

[18:37] <BerndEckenfels> question: do late ppl count as participated

[18:37] <BerndEckenfels> john thinks yes but has to check

[18:38] <BerndEckenfels> rsoter is operators roster driven not role call

[18:39] <BerndEckenfels> suggestion: have a spread sheet who attended which call

[18:40] <BerndEckenfels> call is hosted by mci, sponsored by ibm - so roster has to be processed manually, no oasis tool for that

[18:40] <BerndEckenfels> sally will distribute the roster with the minutes thererfore

[18:41] <BerndEckenfels> additional new busienss?

[18:41] <BerndEckenfels> bye all
