Subject: RE: Business Transaction Management and BPEL submission ( concerns issues 53 to 59)

Title: Message
There is now an html version of this document as
http://www.oasis-open.org/apps/org/workgroup/wsbpel/download.php/3263/BPEL.and.Business.Transaction.Management.Choreology.Submission.htm

This is identical to the word .doc version apart from format and example 2 (where some text I'd deleted once had mysteriously crept back in).  Being html it is possible to link directly into it - I've added link entries in the issues list working copy to the particular issues, which appear immediately above the suggested syntax changes.

Subject: Business Transaction Management and BPEL submission ( concerns issues 53 to 59)

You will have seen the announcements of a raft of issues on "business transaction management". These all relate to the long-promised submission from Choroelogy on how to handle transactions in BPEL, which has been posted as a TC document at http://www.oasis-open.org/apps/org/workgroup/wsbpel/download.php/3258/BPEL.and.Business.Transaction.Management.Choreology.Submission.doc . The automatic announcement will no doubt come out on the list eventually, but there is often a long delay on upload announcement messages.   (There's a new "official" issues list post as well, though http://www.choreology.com/external/WS_BPEL_issues_list.html is more up-to-date)

The submission gives the background and context for the BTM issues and proposes syntax constructs as solutions for 54 to 59

As was discussed on the call last week, we are hoping a considerable part of the face-to-face meeting can spent on this area, as the relation between business process and the coordination of business process and web-services via BTM is a critical aspect.
