Subject: Re: [wsbpel] Issue 11 - Call for Discussion

FYI,

The OASIS CAM system comes complete with its own
comprehensive context management system that is fully
designed to enable context driven information assembly.

Hint: CAM = Content Assembly Mechanism

I'm just wondering about parallels here - BPEL is completely
dependent on WSDL, a W3C specification, that dictates
many of the functional and operational aspects and massively
influences what BPEL can and cannot do. But people are
reluctant to make BPEL dependent on external specifications
for parts of its functionality where clearly BPEL has a
chronic need to outsource that and BPEL itself is being
hamstrung by not making that decision clean and simple.

Am I missing something here?

DW.
