Subject: RE: [wsbpel] Fw: issue categories
Look forward to your proposal :-) Satish -----Original Message----- From: Danny van der Rijn [mailto:dannyv@tibco.com] Sent: Tuesday, March 16, 2004 10:15 AM To: wsbpel@lists.oasis-open.org Subject: Re: [wsbpel] Fw: issue categories my first pass at wading through that leaves me with 2 impressions: - it should definitely be on the agenda for the F2F. - as we are all aware, there is a lot of complexity in compensation. this proposal would introduce a lot of complexity to the language. rather than doing that, i would prefer to eliminate some of the complexity. danny ----- Original Message ----- From: "Satish Thatte" <satisht@microsoft.com> To: "Dieter Koenig1" <dieterkoenig@de.ibm.com>; <wsbpel@lists.oasis-open.org> Sent: Tuesday, March 16, 2004 9:12 AM Subject: RE: [wsbpel] Fw: issue categories Dear TC members, A few of us have been working on sorting out issue 10, which we discussed in the last F2F and failed to resolve due to some technical difficulties we ran into. The attached PPT describes a proposal for resolution. I would like to propose that we put this on the agenda for the F2F in Germany. The attached xls contains issue categories (based on work that Ivana and Monica have done); you may use Data->Sort to view it any way you like. In addition, let me propose that, instead of starting with issue 1 and just iterating through the list, we may address the following areas with higher priority: Issue 10 (Serialization of compensation) and the "permeable/reversible/serializable" discussion (also includes issue 1) Issue 11 (Query in <to> close should allow assigning to new locations) and other Data Handling issues (48, 63, 90, 103) Issue 4 (Dynamic parallel processing) Please let me know in case of any additional suggestions.
