Subject: RE: [wsbpel] BPELJ
Olivier, As Mark says, OASIS BTP is also capable of supporting inter-web service transactions - just because it doesn't have WS- in the name doesn't mean it isn't suitable. It has propagatable contexts and rules about the behaviour of the participants that allow all sorts of transactions. (You don't need different inter-party transaction protocols to support different behaviour in the end-systems (not everyone agrees with this)) The integration of any of the current cloud of business/web-service/loose transaction protocols with bpel is the subject of issues 30 and 53-59. We are hoping to make some progress on this at the bpel meeting next week. (and I'll be sending out Choreology's proposals shortly).
