Subject: Fw: agenda for Oct 12
- From: Diane Jordan <drj@us.ibm.com>
- To: wsbpel@lists.oasis-open.org
- Date: Wed, 5 Oct 2005 14:47:48 -0400
The next call of the WS BPEL TC
will be on Wed. Oct. 12 at 8 am Pacific. Dial in info is: USA &
Canada Toll Free Number: +1 866 500 6738, Pass code: 600345, All Others
(toll): +1 203 480 8000, Pass code: 600345. We will also have access
to LiveMeeting - see the calendar entry for more info on accessing it.
Summary of Oct 12 call:
- Next f2f will be Jan 10-12, 2006.
I'm working on hosting at IBM in RTP, NC and should be able to confirm
later this week.
- 82.3: passed in concept with
two friendly amendments: The profile URI will have the year and month
info appended, and the last bullet will be revised to read" for a
newly added activity business level faults that it may throw ..."
- 82.2: passed additional resolution
that the profile URI will have the year and month info appended.
- 120.2: defer until 123 complete
- 6.4: amended proposal to close with
no change and mark revisitable passed with no objections.
- 11: defer to next week to allow discussion
of new proposal
- 6.2 "part b" proposal to
extend to serial as described in Sept 13 email from Alex passed with no
objections. This finalizes the closure of 6.2.
- 222: motion to rescind previous
resolution seconded. Vote to be done at next call. Once rescinded,
Danny will make motion to resolve as previously closed with an addition,
ie: close issue by instructing the editors
to amend the spec to state that a message cannot be received if it does
not match the stated correlation sets, except for the case where the an
<invoke> is on a request/reply operation, and the *reply* fails to
match the correlation. In this case, the reply *is* delivered to
the process, and correlationViolation is thrown.
Proposed agenda for next meeting:
- Nomination/volunteers to take minutes for this call
- Roll call/determine quorum
- Review/accept minutes from previous meeting(s) - Sept 28
- Review agenda
- Discuss plan for next f2f meeting
- Subgroup reports as available
- Specification Editing status
- Issue discussion. Note we will
follow the agreed to process of limiting discussions of any issue on calls
to no more than 30 minutes at the end of which the person who made the
motion can choose to table to next meeting or force a vote (without requiring
2/3 majority to stop discussion). Those who want to continue to
discuss need to go off line to work the issue. At next meeting progress
should be reported – or issue will go to vote with original proposal.
If issue goes to a vote process starts again as above. If results
of offline discussions result in amended proposal to vote, the new proposal
should be provided to the TC in advance of voting meeting.
Proposals to vote
- 222 (motion to rescind)
- 11
- 125
- 82.3 - if spec language received
- 82.2 - if spec language received
