Subject: Issue 125 - part (c)
Hi all, We have passed part (A) and (B) of proposal (Sent on Sep 26) for Issue 125 today. http://lists.oasis-open.org/archives/wsbpel/200509/msg00074.html There is a last remaining part - part (C), which we need to finalize a terminology: The current proposal suggest the following desc change for mismatchAssignmentFailure fault: From: Thrown when incompatible types are encountered in an assign activity. To: Thrown when incompatible data forms are encountered in a copy operation of an assign activity. The context of this term change is: we are reusing mismatchAssignmentFailure fault to signal the negative condition when people try to assign an empty string to an TII (e.g. "$poVar/p:poid/text()"). People may want to come up a better term than "data forms" Here is another alternative: To: Thrown when incompatible types or incompatible XML infoset structure are encountered in a copy operation of an assign activity. Does it sound more precise now? Thanks! Regards, Aex Yiu |
