Subject: Re: [wsbpel] repeatUntil description issue
Hi all, "repeat X until Condition-Y" is identical to "do X while NOT(Condition-Y)". (a) If we think "until" is the semantics that we want, then <repeatUntil> is the right activity name. Hence, we need to incorporate your changes (sent out last nite) PLUS the post-test clarification. (b) If we think "do-while" is the semantics that we want, we still need to add the post-test clarification to it. It seems to me that the "until" is what the original issue description refers to at the beginning but at the same time its semantics description does not match the natural language semantics of "until", which I tend to think it was just an over-sight. So, I would tend to go for (a). After all, Pascal is a relatively well-known language and "repeat...until..." is a more natural way to think of a high-level business logic compared with "do...while...". (If you try to describe a business process in a natural language (e.g. English), you may see why "repeat ...until..." is better). Make sense? Thanks!
