Subject: Re: [wsbpel-spec-edit] Groups - WS-BPEL 2.0 RDDL (wsbpel-v20-rddl.html)uploaded
Thanks for sending the RDDL file.
A few things:
When I view the XHTML source, I don't see any RDDL annotation at all? Did I miss something there?
If you look at http://docs.oasis-open.org/ws-rx/wsrm/200510/wsrm-1.1-rddl-cd-02.html
and its XHTML source, you can see RDDL annotation. (search for "xmlns:rddl"and "rddl:").
<a href="http://docs.oasis-open.org/ws-rx/wsrm/200510/wsrm-1.1-spec-cd-02.pdf" rddl:nature="http://www.isi.edu/in-notes/iana/assignments/media-types/pdf" rddl:purpose="http://www.rddl.org/purposes#normative reference">WS-ReliableMessaging v1.1</a>---------------------
<a href="http://docs.oasis-open.org/ws-rx/wsrm/200510/wsrm-1.1-schema-200510.xsd" rddl:nature="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema" rddl:purpose="http://www.rddl.org/purposes#schema-validation">wsrm-1.1-schema-200510.xsd</a>---------------------
Also the URI pointing to the XSD is not right.
XML Schemas for WS-BPEL v2.0:
Currently, the above link is:
Besides RDDL annotation is missing, I guess we want to:
Assuming the base URI for RDDL file is: http://docs.oasis-open.org/wsbpel/2.0
<a href="process/abstract/ws-bpel_abstract_common_base.xsd" rddl:nature="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema" rddl:purpose="http://www.rddl.org/purposes#schema-validation">ws-bpel_abstract_common_base.xsd</a>
Does it make sense?
If so, we may want to apply the same changes to all links?
I guess after the RDDL file is done, we may need to package all documents in a zip file for OASIS staff?
RDDL for the BPEL namespace. The namespace URIs were not active at the time this was posted - clicking on many of the links in this doc may result in a 404. It is assumed that this issue will be resolved once OASIS moves the schemas to their appropriate locations. Caveat: While this file is valid XHTML, I have not validated against the RDDL schema. Please have a look and let me know if you see any problems. -- John Evdemon The document named WS-BPEL 2.0 RDDL (wsbpel-v20-rddl.html) has been submitted by John Evdemon to the OASIS Web Services Business Process Execution Language (WSBPEL) TC document repository. Document Description: The Resource Directory Description Language (RDDL) describes a Resource Directory which includes a package of information about a target. The targets which RDDL was designed to describe are XML Namespaces. RDDL is designed to allow both humans and software to find the resources associated with a particular namespace. RDDL sits at the end of a namespace, providing a list of all the machine-processible documents that might be available, including, but not limited to: Document Type Definitions XML schemas in a variety of languages (including RELAX, Schematron, the W3C Schema language, TREX, and others) Cascading Style Sheets, XSLT, and other style sheet specifications Specification documents View Document Details: http://www.oasis-open.org/apps/org/workgroup/wsbpel/document.php?document_id=19984 Download Document: http://www.oasis-open.org/apps/org/workgroup/wsbpel/download.php/19984/wsbpel-v20-rddl.html PLEASE NOTE: If the above links do not work for you, your email application may be breaking the link into two pieces.
