Subject: Re: [wsdm] Groups - 2004-05-27 WSDM TC Conference Call Notes.docuploaded

Tom,

Thanks for the clarification.

1. If I understand correctly, there are multiple reasons to have more
than one WSDL:endpoint for manageability of one resource.

1.A. One reason is that there are different bindings that would result
in different WSDL:endpoints (such as HTTP, HTTPS, JMX).

However, in this case, you would still have one EPR, because that EPR
can have multiple WSDL:endpoints.

1.B. Another reason would be that you have one Manageability Provider
(MP) provide one WSDL:endpoint and provide monitoring capabilities. You
might have one MP with a different WSDL:endpoint which provides some
control capabilities. Etc.

In that case, the distinction is a different set of functionalities, and
the two MPs might not know about each other.

But if the MPs do know about each other, could they both use the same
EPR to refer to the same physical resource?

Thanks.
