Subject: RE: [wsdm] Joint F2F with GGF OGSA after WSDM F2F

Hi, Homayoun, Heather,

Thank you very much for your considerations of our cross-WG session
request in August. I am proud to say that our architecture document
version 1 is completed and submitted to the GGF editor. 60d public
comment period will start shortly. The current document is very
mature and ready to be read.

You can download the document form:
https://forge.gridforum.org/projects/ogsa-wg/document/draft-ggf-ogsa-spec/en
/ or http://tinyurl.com/64fsb

In this document we explain that OGSA will use WSDM manageability
interface of entities or resources in the Grid system. (see. 3.6
resource management services). Also, there are several references
to WSDM in the EMS services (3.4.3).

As Heather mentioned, the OGSA-WG welcome you with no fee. We just
want to know approximate head count for meeting room arrangement.
Our venue is 5 minutes drive distance from your venue.
We would like to pick appropriate and hopefully concrete agenda
items with you before the cross WG session.

We've carefully selected the date/time just after your meeting
in order not to make you 'lose' any work time :-)

p.s.
I and some other OGSA-WG members who are TC observers are planning to
attend WSDM F2F meeting on Monday and Tuesday to learn MUWS and MOWS
and to make cross session productive. Do we have to register in
advance?

Thanks,
----

Homayoun,

Intel hosts Aug. 18 & 20 in Santa Clara.
Fujitsu hosts Aug. 19 in Sunnyvale (without network access).

We don't have to buy a pass or pay $$$.
Our WSDM F2F would still be Aug16 noon to Aug 18 noon. Then OGSA on the 18th
tilll 6pm.
Well, I guess it affects us by 'extending' our F2F , but we do not 'lose'
any already planned work time.

Hi Heather,

Where is ogsa being held? Does ogsa have an architecture document that
further describes their work. I remember last time I checked them out
(about 4 months ago), they were working on one but that has been an
on-going activity for a while now...

Do we (wsdm folks) need to purchase a pass to attend this meeting?

Does this change the time frame / schedule for the next wsdm f2f?

Cheers,
H.
