This is notification message "boxcar"ing, IMO.
Packing several notifications into one at the semantic level complicates the processing. For example, if you had code which would process a "stream" of notifications and then do proper action. If you pack multiple notifications at the semantics level, then every action handler will also need to process its own custom sub"stream".
This is applicable to almost any case of notification, so why not just "boxcar" messages properly (e.g. WS-Notification allows one to do something like this).

In the "Manageable Relationships in WSDM" proposal you presented today, the RelationshipAdd/RelationshipDelete events are indications of addition/removal of ONE relationship. However, there are cases that several relationships are added/deleted at once. In such cases, it is desireable to include all added/deleted relationships in one notification. Should we allow this in WSDM?
