I'm ok with this now that I understand the proposal. Is it
ok if the document includes <cim:IPv6Address> as an example on how one
would define IP Address? Or should this be done in the Primer?

You have made a proposal to remove an element - IPAddress. This
element has a high probability of being a commonly occuring address type for a
manageable resource. I am asking you how you would achieve the same capability
if it is removed. If you don't have an answer, end of discussion.
