Subject: RE: [wsdm] Products that support WSDM 1.0

I would like to chime in here. Our own marketing and business development
people are asking for this information. No standard is ever successful unless
there is significant adoption; and adoption tends to breed adoption. One
thing that could be done to avoid the confilct issues is for someone to
volunteer to host this information on an non-Oasis web page and maintain
it unofficially, but we would all know where to go to find it.

Thanks,

Vaughn,

I agree with you 95%. I don't think it is necessarily a "TC thing".

OTOH, there is a real need for product information. I hear all the time
"great, there is a standard in place. But what products support it?" In
other words, there is a community of people who only care about
standards that are actually implemented.

I am also canvassing for this information via other means. There are
many things going on in the Web Services management space. Apache MUSE,
developer tools, agents, managers, etc.

As to whether the TC would want to have this information, or have a
pointer to it, I don't know the answer.

Thanks.
