Subject: [wsia-comment] Web Services Security Spec Released Yesterday
For your perusal: http://zdnet.com.com/2100-1105-880621.html "Tech standard secures Web services By Wylie Wong Special to ZDNet News April 11, 2002, 4:01 AM PT NEW ORLEANS--Microsoft, IBM and VeriSign have teamed to create security specifications for Web services, a move analysts say will help drive adoption of the hyped but still emerging technology..." Just thought I'd pass along this little tidbit. I'm not sure this reporter has all of his facts straight concerning the origination and genesis of some of the specs he cites, but I doubt that's important. I assume this spec is going to be published somewhere, but the article only mentions that it was introduced yesterday at Microsoft's Tech Ed Conference. Can we get a copy to read?
