Anyone need UK info?

If anyone heading to the f2f is visiting the UK for the first time, and 
you need any info on the necesseties - e.g. power or modem adaptors, 
ATMs, car rental or beer - let me know.  I haven't seen discussion other 
than transport and hotels, so it may be that everyone already knows all 
the pitfalls, but I'll be happy to put together a few facts if anyone 
needs them.
