Subject: Proposed Issue: Semantics of "send/delivery"
The term “send/delivery” of a
message may be interpreted in different ways such as internal submission of the
message to the messaging layer or its actual transporting over the network.
Tighten up the semantics of
“send/delivery” of a message as intended by the WSN specifications and also
describe the relationship and composability with the reliable messaging
layer.
During the Jan/Feb 2005 F2F, this
issue was discussed. David Hull took an action item to review the text dealing
with delivering messages and suggest clarifications.
