I have been actively working on the business and technology aspects of Web Services and Grid Computing for an year now, although my research exposure to these areas spans over the last 4 years. 

Some technical skills/experience I would bring to the table are:
- A specialization in Quality of Service issues for Service Oriented Systems (I am a co-organizer and program committe member of the 2nd Workshop on Web Services Quality, Brisbane, Aus., '04)
- Architected and Developed Smartware- a successful prototype middleware that provides stateful properties like context-awareness and user-profiling to Web Services. The related paper was published at WISE 2003, Rome.
-  Well versed with functionining of resource management systems for Grid Computing- both message passing systems (PVM, MPI) and workload management software like Condor, PBS and LSF. 
- To receive a special executive training from Altaire Engineering on PBS in April 2004. 
- Extensive experience of code- and design- level issues in Service Oriented Systems.
