Bob: we need to wait until the output of the WS-addressing face to face. Anish: it is too early to talk about ws addressing because it has not reached last call. Jacques: my ambition is that we have a well defined functionality to figure out how to work with ws-addressing. Anish: when it goes to LC, other working groups are asked for feedback on the spec. Marc Peel: Piggyback reply to for application and other cases we will not do so. If anyone has discussion items in this area bring to the list to discuss. 2

Anish does not have the dumps yet. They have used the two together in a simple use case. Leave it open. 5.2 Action 012505-1 (Tom Rutt) PendingAction: Tom will investigate how to change the status of printed document. The posted standard still states CD. Jeff : this is important. Why does it not happen automatically. Action: tom will prepare a coversheet for the standard, and post it for people to look at for feedback. 5.3 Action 020805-1 (Tom Rutt) ClosedAction: Tom will reserve space for wsrm TC F2f two days at OASIS symposium the last week of April. Jamie Clark is investigating how to get the documents on the OASIS Site. 6 Status of WS-Reliability SpecificationThe public and member web site pages for the TC to have a single announcement, which refers by URL to spec and schema at the proper location on the OASIS web site. http://docs.oasis-open.org/wsrm/2004/06/WS-Reliability-CD1.086.pdf http://docs.oasis-open.org/wsrm/2004/06/fnp-1.1.xsd http://docs.oasis-open.org/wsrm/2004/06/reference-1.1.xsd http://docs.oasis-open.org/wsrm/2004/06/ws-reliability-1.1.xsd http://docs.oasis-open.org/wsrm/2004/06/wsrmfp-1.1.xsd The spec itself still shows status a CD. The chair sent an email to OASIS staff about the change, but received no response. Continuing Action: Tom will investigate how to change the status of printed document. 7 Status of Interop SC activitiesNothing has happened and there are no current plans. Tom stated he can take this off the agenda until there is some work to do. Bob: we should determine in the future if there is future work for the Interop. Bob: we could put an item on the agenda for the next call what we are going to do with the group. Tom will put this on the agenda for next week. 8 Next Step DocumentationTom Rutt posted the edited contribution from the Interop SC as: http://www.oasis-open.org/apps/org/workgroup/wsrm/download.php/11196/InteropSCfeedback.pdf Comments have been requested on re-factoring this contribution into the three document types shown below. 8.1 Editorial Clarifications and ErrataClarifications, editorial nits, interpretations of the actual specification, which should be posted for others to see 8.2 Implementation Guidelines / Application NotesThings to help implementers, which, would typically be specific to application environments. 8.3 Future Enhancement RequestsProposed changes for future versions which would ease implementation or enhance protocol capabilities. 9 Composability with other WS-SpecsTask force was initiated with members Jacques, Alan, Abbie,. and Bob F. Jacques have some feedback. They have a new draft composability document which they are reviewing internally. Bob: I think it is time to circulate the document. Action: Jacques will post a new composabiliity document for review by the end of this week. 10 WS-reliability PAS progressionTom sent a mail to investigate how to post the three OASIS pas documents on our server. The attached response from Jamie, is posted as: [Fwd: Re: Can OASIS post the JTC1 Pas Papers] Tom Rutt 14 Feb 2005 12:17:58 * From: James Bryce Clark
<jamie.clark@oasis-open.org> * To: tom@coastin.com * Date: Wed, 09 Feb 2005 13:43:31 -0800 Acknowledged. I will inquire. Please note that submission to an outside
group like ISO is possible but requires some OASIS management approval. (See the liasion
policy at http://www.oasis-open.org/committees/liaison_policy.php#submitwork.) If a TC
wants to recommend this to us, it might be a good first step to have the TC
adopt a motion or such to that effect. The criteria -- on the OASIS side, which on a timeline would precede any ISO criteria --
are listed in that policy as well. I am aware of the acute interest that some
members have in ending some OASIS
work to JTC1's panels which are populated in part by those members. There are
other parts of ISO as well, so one of the open questions is "why JTC1"? . It
may well be a good idea to send items to JTC1
-- but it's not a sure thing yet, and I am hesitant to encourage people to get ahead of the process. Which starts by somebody
proposing it to us. Which hasn't happened yet so far as I know. Should I send essentially this message to
the TC as well, or is all that already obvious to them? Regards Jamie Tom

Rutt >wsrm TC chair > Jeff M: there is no plan from OASIS staff on this yet. Bob M: I move that we ask the OASIS staff to pursue the PAS progression of WS-reliability. Jeff M seconded. Discussion: the JTC1 study group is meeting in March. JTC1 may have delegated recommendations to the study group. Jeff: members should see about getting on that JTC1 Study group. Don Deutch is the chair of the group. No opposition, motion passed. Action: tom will inform Jamie of this motion to get the ball rolling. 11 Discussion of Future MeetingsTom reserved all day Wed and Thursday after the symposium for Our TC. We will need to bring our own projector, the hotel will supply a screen. There will be a 30 dollar a day fee for attendees (there will be a meeting registration form). Jacques: change to Thursday all day, with Friday morning. Tom: asked if anyone would complain. Tom will ask the staff to change to all day Thursday and Friday morning. 12 New BusinessBob F moved to adjourn. Jacques seconded. No opposition, meeting adjourned. |
