Subject: Re: [wsrp-interfaces] Update Response not extensible

The original reason was that this a
was a structure simply abstracting out a portion of the pbia response items
so that they could be made mutually exclusive with other items. The next
level up is extensible and people didn't think both were needed. In v2
we reused this type in HandleEventsResponse, is that what is now raising
a desire for it to be extensible?

extensible |

While looking more deeply into solving some of the open JSR286 items as
WSRP 2.0 extensions, I noticed that the update response is not extensible,
neither in the spec, nor in the xsd.
We figured our that supporting some of the custom modes features proposed
in JSR286 would require us to have that structure extensible.
Any reason why there is no extension point?
Mit freundlichen Gruessen / best regards,
Richard Jacob
