Richard,

I was able to get a bit further (testing portlet 0.1 now shows table of date
links), once the IBM producer came back online this afternoon:

1) markupContext.requiresUrlRewriting is not being set to true but html has
wsrp-rewite?../wsrp-rewrite. [work around - always re-write]

2) The rewrites are in the form:
wsrp-rewrite?&a=b&c=d/wsrp-rewrite, having an extra & after the ? where a =
wsrp-urlType.
[work around - convert to wsrp-rewrite?a=b]

3) The rewritten urls have an extra URL parameter
&dilbert.date=dilbert-20030420.html
We only forward wsrp-interactionState and not arbitrary url params.
