Meeting minutes 11/29/07

Hi,

the OASIS kavi system has some problems regarding our SC's. I opened a
request for OASIS to fix that.
Until then, here are the minutes from yesterday's call.

Attendees: Nathan, Kevin, Mike, Satish, Stefan, Richard

1. Timeline and version support
Discussion regarding which version to operate on. Concensus to go to
approved 2.0 CS version.
BEA/Vignette/IBM planning for launching Producers in december/january.
Oracle needs to verify schedules
Vignette might delay launch due to ongoing IP issue.

2. Features support / capabilities
- IBM: starting with producer online, no access to consumer in first shot.
Consumer tests from internal network in the beginning.
Then extend to allow other parties to log-in to public Consumer and manage
their pages. Management of integrated producer's may remain closed.
Features supported on both Consumer and Producer: serveResrouce(),
Eventing, Public Nav Params

- BEA: Consumer/Producer online, likely provide accounts to manage remote
producers on BEA's consumer portal.
Supported features: mandatory spec items, Import/Export

- Vignette: Consumer/Prodcuer online.
Supported features Consumer: serverResource(), Eventing, Public Nav Params,
Producer: mandatory spec items

Oracle: decision pending how participation will happen, underway. Supported
features: mandatory, Import/Export

SAP asked for interop testing and participation

4. WS-Security interop testing
BEA & IBM interested in WS-Security testing.
Common base is UsernameToken and SignedUsername Token. BEA supports SAML
token, too.
Need seperate slot for IBM Producer testing, supports strict security
requirement, others not supporting required token would be locked out.
Will be planned after first non-secure smoke tests.

5. Organisation
Start with loose testing in the first phase similar to WSRP 1.0 tests.
Become more detailed/concrete later.
Open Interop Wiki page on OASIS site.
Participants will publish their WSDLs, Producer details and portlet
descriptions there.
Richard to open Wiki page.
Document interop discussion issues as items on wiki page. Document
resolutions and recommendations to TC.

6. Discussions
Support for portlets setting cookies in actions/event handling phase.
Where do these need to flow?
Discussion about initCookiePolicy / producers returning new cookies in
markup interface operations besides initCookie and protocol level
MarkupContext.ClientAttributes.
Richard to summerize problem on ML and Wiki.

7. next call will be scheduled on 01/10/08.
