Subject: RE: [wsrp-markup] Meeting Agenda Tomorrow

We do need this in 1.1. I view it part of advanced scripting support.

Subject: Re: [wsrp-markup] Meeting Agenda Tomorrow

Sorry I won't be able to attend today's call. I have two other
conflicting meetings at that time. I would like to bring up one issue
that we may consider adding to the charter.

Last year we considered the ability for a portlet to generate multiple
markup segments. A classic use case is where the portlet generates a
body fragment and a head fragment.

We dismissed this as a possible future enhancement to the spec. With
XForms coming down the pipe it will be likely that a portlet will need
to add markup to the containing pages head tag. I am not sure how this
pertains to markup languages other than XHTML and HTML. There may be
use cases worth pursuing in other markups as well.
