Minutes for wsrp-webservice conf call.
Attendees: Andre and Richard Jacob.
Covered Agenda:
- the missing response element issue, for void operations in .NET:
was passed to David Holladay (Microsoft).
Current work-around requires some hand coding and needs to be documented in primer.
- fault: we now seem to be fine on faults, representation and code gen - wise.
Richard will do a quick test against the Oracle producer.
- Citrix to Oracle connection problems: now have a tcp trace to work on.
- Richard and I discussed starting Attachments test:
would like to postpone until nearer the Sept f2f.
Question: simple standalone tests or add to our producer/consumers?
Standalone may be better.
Other Issues:
- Citrix has one request for SOAP RCP style encoding.
Any vendors likely to offer such a binding?
We felt it unlikely (Richard points out WS-I.org does not allow all combinations).
- Should we consider some joint SSL testing?
(Not just for interop but to clarify secure use of portlets.)

Wash-up on .NET "missing initCookie response element" (.NET to JAX-RPC interop problem).
Review encoding of WSRP faults.
JAX-RPC may be only stack that encodes SOAP fault element direct from WSDL.
Should have WSRP 1.0 fault SOAP traces to compare by Wednesday.
Citrix(.NET) to Oracle(Java) HTTP re-liability issues. How to debug this one?
Still on schedule to start Attachment testing end of month?
Discuss and other issues raised.
