I think there are 2 reasons for this: 1) Historical. Just recently we decided to include Properties in v1. There had been an effort to keep the definitions isolated pending that decision. 2) Usage. The question has been raised as to the number of Consumers that would request this information. I think that adding it to entityDescription likely doesn't expand that structure enough to worry about this ... Consumers can always choose to ignore the information. I would still propose keeping the separate operation for dynamically constructed Consumer UIs for End-User personalization. This allows the Consumer to get a description that is relevant to the userContext for this End-User so that the correct page can be built. This use case may be required for Consumers wanting to implement a hierarchical structure to the entities they clone.
