SC reports/issues SCs did not meet except for the WSDL SC on 10th Feb 2.a Interoperability (Richard) 2.b Conformance (Rich) 2.c WSDL (Andre) Folks still need to test 2.0 WSDLs (updated recently) against their web stacks Visual Studio, JAXRPC RI pending, others? 2.d PFB (Richard) 2.e Coordination (Rich) 2.f Interfaces (Mike) 2.g Primer (Subbu) 3. FAQ issues/discussion (Clinton) 4. Errata items 4.1 CR304a - Rich uploaded a schema file for an extension namespace, comments? Rich asked if there were additional types (other than namedstring, stringarray) to put on there? Andre also asked if additional attributes were needed? Both id and type. 4.2 CR309 - Specify lax validation on our extension element? No discussion on this today 5. V2 Specification 5.1 Draft 05 was recently posted, Andre sent a set of comments, others?. Rich had uploaded 05 draft which included resolution of three issues. There has not been much email discussion so far on the new drafts, so folks are requested to review and try and move things forward. 5.2 Open Issues: Owners need to move issues toward consensus resolutions ... Change requests not being discussed at the moment. Need to get working on this. The following CRs were discussed - Yossi had submitted one to clarify purpose (verbage) for Event Handling. Rich agreed. Decision was to put forward for resolution unless anyone objected. - The possibility for Consumer making a request for lifetime was discussed. Currently, operations only return lifetimes. Consumer could perhaps negotiate that by specifying upfront. Andre noted that we are currently doing so in export operations, i.e. typically Producer sets the policy and the Consumer can try and influence that default. In WS-Resource, the initial request can ask for a lifetime. We shoudl try and align with WS-Resource. Andre also noted that typically lifetime would not be changed initially, but later on via negotiation. Andre also noted that the objective would be to indicate if leasing is ON or not. Feeding lifetime would be a way for Consumers to indicate if it needed the lifetime capability. - Rich commented that copy portlet went into the spec draft and has two registration and two user context params. There was debate on which style to use when listing the interfaces upfront. Andre to lay out proposed options as a start. - Rex asked if the issues could be put into an excel styleshteet format to make it earlier to follow progress. - Issue #41, on use of wsdl rather than wsrp metadata for supported factories. Rex had preference for keeping in PM port. Rich and Andre prefer to keep separate port type. Currently, leaning on keeping seperate. 6. Other items? Rich indicated that he had received email from the OASIS staff confirming 3 days (end April) for the F2F in New Orleans Box lunch, audio visual costs would be $30 per person per day, any issues? None. Andre noted that we should organize calls in advance to allow discussion prior to F2F.
