Subject: Fwd: [emergency] Balloting for OASIS Standard - EDXL-RM v1.0

Hi Folks,

I wanted to forward this to the wsrp list with my special plea for
those of you who work in corporate OASIS members to contact your org
rep and let them know that the EDXL RM, The Emergency Data Exchange
Language Resource Messaging Specification v1.0 is well worth looking
at and voting for. It will further enable the Department of Homeland
Security and the local and state public safety agencies to share
information during emergency incidents better and set the stage for
more interoperability in the future.

It also lends itself well to web service implementations, one of
which I'm working on: https://sourceforge.net/projects/iosa-edxl-rm/

In fact, I'm in the midst of developing the web services which
implement the specification, so if any of you have some spare time,
we'd love to see more developers come on board. We're looking to
provide both SOAP-based and RESTful webservices, as well as
adaptations for the .NET Visual Studio Platform as well as J2EE.

A wsrp 2.0 implementation would also be welcome.

Cheers,
Rex
