Subject: [wss] revised draft clarification
I am having trouble understanding the new paragraph added to section 8 of WSS-Core-03-1103.pdf (in red). Does the following capture the intended meaning?: "The creator of an XML Signature on a message payload, message header, or message attachment may associate key claims with the signature by using one or more SecurityTokenReferences. A token referenced by a SecurityTokenReference may provide information about the key, serving a similar function as the XML Digital Signature KeyInfo element. Such a token may also be used to convey additional information relevant to the signature, serving a similar function as the XML Digital Signature SignatureProperties element. Appropriate use and interpretation of a token referenced by a SecurityTokenReference depends upon signing and relying party agreement on business and security trust models." Is this the intent? Thanks Frederick
