Subject: swa-profile-1.0-draft-08 - More comments
Frederick, Some more comments on Draft 8. We haven't had a chance to review draft 9 yet: 1) The MIME header "Content-ID" is mistakenly written as "Content-Id" (wrong case) in the specification and the example. 2) Since MIME header names are case-insensitive, MIME header canonicalization should probably either use the case of header names as per the MIME specifications, or else should lowercase the MIME header names (making point 1 above mute). 3) MIME header parameter values may be quoted or unquoted. Quoting is not symantically significant. MIME header canonicalization should probably either require quoting of parameter values or the removal of quotes. 4) MIME header values may be encoded per RFC2047. MIME header canonicalization should probably perform RFC2047 decoding. Dana S. Kaufman VP of Product Management Forum Systems, Inc.
