Subject: Re: [wss] SwA profile Issue 364 action for TC members
An application that knows how its messages are being passed around can either avoid the cost of canonicalization, or avoid the risk of message modification as appropriate. An application that doesn't know can always add a c14n transform. More explicit "rules" seem like a matter left to profiling. /r$ -- Rich Salz, Chief Security Architect DataPower Technology http://www.datapower.com XS40 XML Security Gateway http://www.datapower.com/products/xs40.html
