a) Open issues

Issue 455

ACTION 2006-08-08-01 Chris to drive the TC discussion of which URI is being
used for the X509 token.
DONE.
Tony pointed out that the TC interop documents used the WSS Core base URI.
http://lists.oasis-open.org/archives/wss/200608/msg00014.html

"So a proposal would be to remove the #x509v3 table entry at line 1399 of
wss-v1.1-spec-os-SOAPMessageSecurity and then change the example in same
document at lines 1514, 1915 and 1927 to use a custom token or if we want
the core to be pointing to a profile then to
http://docs.oasis-open.org/wss/2004/01/oasis-200401-wss-x509-token-profile-1
.0#X509v3."

Adopted unanimously (use the forward reference to the X509 Profile).

Change status to Pending. Assigned to Editors.

Issue 461

See:
http://lists.oasis-open.org/archives/wss/200607/msg00000.html

ACTION 2006-08-08-02 Tony Nadalin to investigate the history of the key
derivation section in the errata and to post the history to the TC email
list.
Status: Tony did the research but did not post it. Between Jul and Sept
2004 the TC processed Issue 282 and the results got folded into the 1.0
errata at that time.

Mike M moved to remove the Key Derivation section from the WSS 1.0 Errata.
Seconded by Paul.

Adopted unanimously.

Change status to Pending. Assigned to Editors.

b) Pending issues

Issue 456 applies to Kerberos.
Issue 457 applies to X509.

The meeting agreed to remove the x509v1 row from Table 2 in the X509 Token

c) Outstanding issues

Outstanding public comment on SAML token profile
http://lists.oasis-open.org/archives/wss/200603/msg00027.html

Ron raised this public comment which he felt had been dropped and failed to
be processed. Ron proposed that something should be added to the Security
Considerations to the SAML token profile 1.1. No objection to adding
non-normative text to the SAML token profile 1.1.
