Quorum reached.

Agenda:

Minutes from 10 June meeting voted upon:
    Corrections: none
    Moved: Anne
    Second: Bill
    Approved unanimously.

External Links on the Website
Hal: consider this to be a good idea to list all references, but
qualify that we should have a time box for links to maintain
          relevance.
Anne: will setup a page that will handle this.
Hal: perhaps Kavi and handle this?
Tim: how to handle issues with a reference? General consensus that
the TC respond in an adjacent area on the TC web site.

Status of v2 Document
Tim: Draft 12 in progress. Two issues remain: URI matching and
         Hierarchical Resources.
Anne: If there is sufficient interest in the Delegation proposal
adding the <Issuer> element to Policy and PolicySet would allow
for a Profile to be defined later (not requiring a revision to
         the spec).

URI matching
Michiharu: provided a proposal to the list for URI matching. The
intent was to create a simple syntax for describing HRs.
Daniel: the proposal is not necessarily "user friendly" because of
              the complex nature of HRs.
Anne: can we have an example of how this would work in regex?
Hal: sure it can be done, but it is more of a question of
              should we?
Bill: I believe that I can write such an expression, but I am not
adverse to splitting the resource from the resource-node-
              hierarchy
Tim: I would like to use this in Target for retrieving policies
and am concerned that regex will be overly complex.

ACTION ITEM: Bill will post a proposal to the list using Michiharu's
                concept of "*, **" as a parameter.

Review status of last meeting's action items
   Profile (and version) implementation:
Anne: posted proposal to the list
     Tony: no progress
Daniel: posted, tony no progress will post, will post

Use Case for XML resource: MK
     Michiharu: no progress, will post

   Use Case for NON-XML resource:
     Anne: posted to list
     Daniel: no progress, will post

   XACML time review:
Seth: no progress, will review and post

   RBAC review:
Anne: input from the comments list have generated some interesting
options, will pursue and post findings.

Hierarchical Resources
Anne: The only comments to the list revolve around URI-match
         functions.
Tim: have some questions on clarity. Will post to list.

General Business
Clarification that MustBePresent function was dropped previously
   by TC.
   Tim: it was never defined.

   v2 Timing
Hal: any problems with defining <Issuer>?
Anne: we still have to define if like an attribute value or
             undefined
     Tim: just like Subject?
Frank: pinged Polar on progress on his progress with write-up for
             <Issuer>

ACTION ITEM: will try to come up with more complete solution very
                  soon working with Polar

Tim: just stick it in with Subject syntax?

Draft 12 will be sent out with HRs and MRs (incorporating Anne's
    latest change requests to each).

ACTION ITEM:	Bill well present Tim with draft of v2 changes section
                 within a week.

WE ARE APPROACHING THE FINAL STAGES OF DEVELOPMENT ON THE
SPECIFICATION. ALL MEMBERS ARE ASKED TO REVIEW DRAFT 12 AND TO RAISE
ANY ISSUES OR CONCERNS THAT THEY MAY HAVE TO THE LIST.

Meeting adjourned.
