Minutes of the OASIS XACML Technical Committee Meeting 2 March 2006 ACTION ITEM FOR ALL: see #3 below. Approval of minutes from February 16 http://lists.oasis-open.org/archives/xacml/200602/msg00009.html Approved unanimously 2. Proposal to make Attribute groupings in Request Context extensible Issue 3 from Oct. 2005 Face-to-Face: http://wiki.oasis-open.org/xacml/SecondDayMinutes This affects both RequestContext and Policy references to Subject/Resource/...Attribute. Daniel has AI to produce draft of changes. He expects to post a draft by Monday 6 March 2006. If anyone interested in discussing his draft at the Focus Meeting on 9 March, send e-mail to the list. 3. Virtual Face-to-Face to review status of Administration Policy The TC teleconference on 16 March will be devoted to a review of the current status of the Administration Policy Working Draft. All members are requested to read the current draft and the issues list, and be ready to discuss at this meeting. Status of extended Obligations draft Reference: Qualified Decisions at http://wiki.oasis-open.org/xacml/FirstDayMinutes Bill has a draft, which he will put on the WIKI once he has talked to Michiharu, who has been traveling. 5. SAML update Anne has AI to produce a Working Draft of a revised SAML 2.0 profile of XACML 2.0, incorporating the errata. The intent is for the TC to approve a new Committee Draft to reflect stability, but not to move toward full OASIS Standard at this time. Anne to post revisions by 23 March 2006, to be discussed at TC meeting on 30 March 2006. 6. Conformance tests for Administration Policy features A new employee at Erik's place is working on conformance tests for the new Administration features 7. XACML 2.0 submission to ITU OASIS is working with ITU to have XACML 2.0 approved as an ITU standard. This requires rewriting XACML 2.0 in the ITU format and resolving a reference issue with our description of Higher-order functions using Haskell. This submission is between OASIS and ITU, and does not involve the XACML TC. Abbie Barbir has produced a draft for OASIS, which he asked Hal and Anne to review by 28 February 2006.
