The ballots to approve Candidate OASIS Standards have closed - 1 failed, 2 passed

Members of the XACML TC,

The Special Majority ballots to approve submitting REST Profile of XACML v3.0 Version 1.0 CS01, XACML 3.0 Export Compliance-US (EC-US) Profile Version 1.0 CS02, and XACML Intellectual Property Control (IPC) Profile V1.0 CS02 to the OASIS membership as Candidate OASIS Standards have closed. 

The ballot for REST Profile of XACML v3.0 Version 1.0 received 7 affirmative votes. A minimum of 8 were required. The ballot failed to pass. 

The ballots for XACML 3.0 Export Compliance-US (EC-US) Profile Version 1.0 and XACML Intellectual Property Control (IPC) Profile V1.0 received 9 affirmative votes and passed.

For Export Compliance and IPC Profile, please now submit a JIRA ticket to request preparation of the Candidate OS and the membership vote. The ticket will provide TC Admin with all the information needed to prepare the COS and the announcements to the membership. The form is at:

For REST Profile, if you wish to start a new Special Majority Vote, please pass a motion to request another vote and then enter a ticket at https://www.oasis-open.org/resources/tc-admin-requests/candidate-oasis-standard-ballot-request. I'll get the vote set up as soon as I hear from the TC.
