I am resigning as chair. I am not running for chair.

I have seen no nominations for chair posted to this list,
though I have been working off list to coax a couple of
members into taking on this responsibility. If I get one or
more people to agree I will nominate them on the list.

I hope as chair to initiate a five day ballot to select a new
chair before I resign. If I am unable to do so, OASIS
administration has told me that they will conduct the ballot.

VXER is still the term used in the current CS.

That the presence of this term has caused an uproar is a
purely political matter in XCBF.

But I am sure that from the perspective of your ASN.1
Group, this material is a most pressing technical concern.
