I will be happy to help with anything productive and sensible.

But I am not sure how biometrics would be used for "remote logon to web 
services"????  Not being negative, just not understanding.

I (and, I think others on the XCBF list) have a strong interest in Web Services, 
particularly Fast Web Services - which essentially means use of binary encodings 
of the XSD-defined XML.

Can you find the old RFC, John, and circulate it, so that we can have a better 
idea of what might be intended?
