XDI TC Members and Observers:

In discussions this afternoon with Loren and Dave I realized that I needed
to submit an updated version of the XDI addressing strawman proposal to go
along with the sample XDI document I uploaded earlier.

The simplified rules in this document can be used to compose the XRIs
necessary to navigate to any node in the sample XDI document.

Also one note about the sample XDI document: to make it easy to view, it
combines two XDI documents that would normally be separate standalone XDI
documents. By XDI metaschema validity rules as well the proposed XDI
addressing rules, this is entirely valid, however I just wanted to reinforce
that I did this only for purposes of enabling the two documents to be
reviewed together, not because it makes sense or because there is any use
case for doing this (other than pure illustration).

The two XDI documents that were combined into one were intended to have the
following global e-names identify their root XDI node (as well as their
global e-number synonyms which I'm not listing here):

	xri:=Mary.Jones
	xri:=Bob.Smith

If you assume these are the XRIs of the starting XDI node, then all other
XDI nodes in the respective documents (and the links within and between
them) can all be composed and resolved using the rules in the proposed v2
XDI addressing strawman. For example:

	xri:=Mary.Jones/(+email)/(+work)/($v1)
	xri:=Bob.Smith/(+phone)/(+work)/($v1)
	xri:=Bob.Smith*(=Mary.Jones)/(+email)/(+work)/($v1)

We will discuss these more on tomorrow's telecon.
