Subject: Groups - XDI Schema Proposal V17 (draft-xdi-schema-v17.xsd) uploaded

This is the new v17 XDI schema proposal. It arose out of discussions with
Andy Dale and Johannes Ernst about the advantages of having their be an
algorithmic transformation between XDI addresses (XRIs) and XPath
expressions that can be traversed directly within instances of the
schema.

It only involved two changes, neither of which affects the XDI graph
model:

1) The Resource element, which was formerly used to model all nodes in the
XDI graph, was replaced by three explicit elements for Authority, Type, and
Instance nodes, so now the three-level RDF structure of the graph
(Authority = Subject, Type = Predicate, Instance = Object) is explicit.

2) A root XDI element was added so that a single XDI document can contain
branches of the XDI graph from any number of authorities.

Note that this latter property essentially makes the entire XDI graph a
single "logical document" of which any XDI instance document is a subset.
