Following are the minutes of the joint unofficial telecon of the XRI and XDI TCs at: Date: Thursday, 29 November 2007 USA Time: 10:00AM - 12:00PM Pacific Time Event Description: Weekly unofficial joint call of the XRI and XDI Technical Committees. ATTENDING Markus Sabadello John Bradley Les Chasen Peter Davis Gabe Wachob Drummond Reed Andy Dale AGENDA 1) UPDATE ON THE XRI RESOLUTION 2.0 AND ID-TRUST MEMBER SECTION VOTES Now that both votes have passed, Mary McRae will be uploading the Committee Draft 02 file and starting the public review. Dee Schur will take the next steps with the ID-Trust Member Section. 2) XRI TC PAPER FOR IDTRUST 2008 CONFERENCE Drummond, Les, and Wil have begun the process of submitting a paper on XRI and XRDS to the 7th Symposium on Identity and Trust on the Internet (IDtrust) 2008, to be held 4-6 March 2008 at the NIST facility in Gaithersburg, Maryland. This event is co-sponsored by the OASIS IDtrust Member Section. See the full notice at: http://lists.oasis-open.org/archives/xri/200711/msg00031.html # JOHN volunteered to help as well. 3) XRI AND XDI ONE-PAGE SUMMARIES FOR INTERNET IDENTITY WORKSHOP The IIW organizing team invited the XRI and XDI TCs to submit one-page overviews to be used for the Internet Identity Workshop newcomer orientation sessions on Monday afternoon December 3rd (http://iiw.idcommons.net/index.php/Monday_Outline). The drafts we prepared are posted at: http://iiw.idcommons.net/index.php/XRI http://iiw.idcommons.net/index.php/XDI We reviewed them and made further edits as a group. # DRUMMOND to send PDFs of each to the IIW administrator. 4) OTHER PREPARATIONS FOR IIW We discussed what other sessions we might like to have during the IIW Open Space besides an introductory session on XRI Resolution 2.0 CD02. The suggestions were. * A session on "I-names for OpenID users". * A session on "XDI in action". * A session on link contracts in the XDI RDF model. 5) XRDS PROVISIONING PROTOCOL Our final topic was discussing the interest in an XRDS Provisioning Protocol (dubbed XRDSP), in particular building it on OAuth (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/OAuth).
