XDI & RDF
Drummond’s document describing the four key differences between the RDF and XDI graph models has resulted in a lot of feedback:
https://lists.oasis-open.org/archives/xdi/201501/msg00003/RDF-and-XDI-Graph-Models-v2.pdf
Based on this feedback, we started to discuss and work on an outline for a second draft:
https://docs.google.com/document/d/1pkrbCGTbBfyspFu64-DxLiSlvqa_0xCurZx4YZeTARc/edit?usp=sharing
Markus pointed to historical as well as current work on defining access control using RDF:
https://wiki.eclipse.org/HR_Directory_Access_Control_Policy
http://www.w3.org/wiki/WebAccessControl
There was broad support on the call to consider XDI an “extension” to RDF.
We continued to discuss variable syntax in order to complete the XDI ABNF as a part of the XDI Core 1.0 spec.
