Subject: RE: [xliff-comment] Public Comment
Hi Eduardo, The 1.0 specification is still there, as all versions: xliff-specification.htm simply points to the last one. But each version is also saved with its full-name (same system as the one for the W3C specifications). Simply click on the link for "Previous version" listed at the top of the page, and you can go backward as far as the very first early contribution. The 1.0 specification is at: http://www.oasis-open.org/committees/xliff/documents/xliff-20020415.htm I hope this helps. Kind regards, -yves -----Original Message----- From: comment-form@oasis-open.org [mailto:comment-form@oasis-open.org] Sent: Tue, November 11, 2003 2:12 PM To: xliff-comment@lists.oasis-open.org Subject: [xliff-comment] Public Comment Comment from: eduardo.gutentag@sun.com I have noticed that the previous 1.0 version of XLIFF has been replaced completely by the 1.1 version of it, which uses the same address, http://oasis-open.org/committees/xliff/documents/xliff-specification.htm as was used before. This is a horrible and totally wrong way of doing versioning, because now no one can obtain the previous version for the purpose of comparison or review. You have effectively deleted version 1.0 from the OASIS site. What were you thinking?
