Agenda 1. Peter to report on progress in drafting the mandate for ISO TC 37/SC5 liaison 2. Low number of submissions for FEISGILTT / XLIFF Symposium -> Invite specific speakers Yves Savourel (and or Fredrik) to report on new Inline markup, Identify other feature owners, etc. Discussion and agreement of specific next steps. Minutes 1. ISO TC 37/SC5 next steps skipped and not revisited as Peter left in the meantime 2. David reported on a low number of XLIFF Sympoium submission. It was said that the list is short but strong and we could build a good program even without further submissions. Next steps were discussed who to invite to speak. David and Bryan appealed to Yves to submit a presentation of inline markup subcommittee work. Yves decided to consider it without obligation. David contacted OASIS and W3C and enlisted official support. David also mentioned a pending sponsorship promise that became public in the meantime [Microsoft is Platinum sponsor of the 3rd Symposium, along with CNGL which is platium sponsor of the whole FEISGILTT]. David also reported that collaboration with Localization World organizers runs very smoothly and that first people registered for the event. Yves asked when program will be published David answered that the PC will need till the end of August after the deadline prolonged until August 14. David agreed that we need to publsih at least program higlights by the end of August, howver not precluding PC decisions... David said that the community will want to know the calendar date for XLIFF 2.0 release and that the TC shoudl deliver the date to the Community at the Symposium. David tentatively offered to make a submission with this topic with Bryan as co-presenter. David also siad that feature owners should take the opportunity to inform the community on import and progress of their features. SC members encouraged to personally invite interesting speakers to submit before deadline.
