Subject: xml:tm XLIFF segmentation example
Hi Everyone, As part of my actions from the last meeting I have created an example of segmentation using xml:tm. Please find attached an example of xml:tm segmentation including all associated files. Please note the following: 1) XLIFF file format is XLIFF 1.0 2) I have not included the internal skeleton files in the examples so as not to complicate the issue. A separate example with an internal skeleton file is included in xmltm-segmented-pl.xliff-packed 3) The following commentary explains the stages of the process: 3.1) xmltm-example.xliff - this is the original XLIFF file 3.2) xmltm-example.xliff.seg - this is the segmented XLIFF file with the xml:tm namespace inserted. 3.3) xmltm-example-segmented.skl - this is the skeleton file of the secondary extraction. 3.4) xmltm-example-segmented.xliff - this is the secondary extraction XLIFF file. 3.5) xmltm-example-segmented-pl.xliff - this is the translated secondary XLIFF file in Polish. 3.6) xmltm-example-segmented-pl.xliff.mrg - this is the merged Polish XLIFF file. 3.7) xmltm-example-pl.xliff - this is the translated equivalent of the original xmltm-example.xliff file created by stripping out the namespace from the above file. 3.8) stripNamespace.xsl - this is an example of an XSLT style sheet that strips out a given namespace from a document.
