a/magnus to do additional work on proposal
b/magnus to put together ballot if propsal to be presented to main XLIFF committee
Plan to present to XLIFF committee in Feb meeting.
Both action items are closed, and Andzrej to finish his revisions by next sub committee meeting.
4/work in progress:

i) Move to set up SC ballot for current segmentation representation proposal:
Reviewed the edited proposal.
in cases where we have markup that spans potential segment boundaries:
-split elements at segment boundary, creating 2 elements
-not allow segmentation at that boundary.

g element has "clone" attribute, default is yes, and unless has ="no", can always clone the g element and apply segmentation using mrk element in those cases.

Each alt-trans contains source & target and references appropriate mtype

Agreed to add "mid" attribute to alt-trans so it matches mrk's mid attribute.

Action: What should happen with the id attribute when clone is yes? Need to get input from the main XLIFF TC. Owner: Magnus
Action: Need examples for for new value "seg" for the mtype attribute of the element. Owner: Magnus
Action: Need example inside segmentation entry, with source & target where seg used to indicate source & target. Owner: Magnus

Magnus will revise document and send out for subcommittee feedback. Target date next subcommittee for ballot and revised specification, provided all agree and no major conflicts arise.

ii) Preparation of Andrzej's proposal for SC ballot:
No further comments

Meeting adjourned.
