Dear Tony,

Thank you for your message.

The XLIFF standard has been added to The MAP Standards page. Note, XLIFF
is also listed on http://www.lisa.org/standards/

For the moment, I have changed Oracle's standards support to include
XLIFF so that the XLIFF link appears on
http://www.lisa.org/map/standardslist.html

I hope you could send a message to your committee's members to
participate in The MAP and register their companies and for existing
LISA members to have their company representatives to check the XLIFF
standards box.

Please let me know if there are any other groups you know of who would
want to be included on The MAP or if you have any other questions.

Thank you for your support and have a great weekend!

I'm the Chair of the OASIS XLIFF Technical Committee. I noticed that
your LISA Standards page does not list our group.
Our charter is as follows:
"The purpose of the OASIS XLIFF TC is to define a specification for an
extensible localization interchange format that will allow any software
provider to produce a single interchange format that can be delivered to
and understood by any localization service provider. The format will be
tool-independent, standardized, and support the entire localization
process. It will comprehensively support common software data formats
and be open enough to allow the development of tools compatible with an
implementer's own proprietary data formats and company culture."
The Technical Committtee is made up of members of LISA, some of whom
actively participate in OSCAR and related committees. We have completed
and posted a committee specification and DTD, both of which may be
found at our homepage.
I wonder if you could add our group on your Standards page. Please feel
free to contact me if you have any questions or concerns.
Regards,
Tony
