Subject: XLIFF 1.1 certification statement template

All:

I've received some guidance regarding the format of what a certification statement should look like:

The statements are made by emailing the XLIFF mailing list,   <xliff@lists.oasis-open.org> and me directly <tony.jewtushenko@oracle.com>,  with a subject line "Certification of  XLIFF 1.1 committee specification implementation" with the body comprised of the following statement:

"I can assert on behalf of <insert your company name here> that we are using the XLIFF 1.1 committee specification in accordance with OASIS IPR Policy."

There is no formal verification of the implementation,  and your implementation may be of prototype or research level - it does not require customer shipping or production level tools.  On the other hand,  the statement must reflect that your particular implementation is not vapourware.

Regards,
Tony
