Thank you for your interest in XLIFF.  Peter summarized the history of
the XLIFF TC and our deliverables quite clearly,  so I have very little
to add (Thanks,  Peter!).  The only information I would add is that
Passolo (Pass Engineering) also supports visual XLIFF editing.

Besides the Whitepaper that Peter suggested,  you might find the FAQ at
our website contains a lot of useful and well organized information :

And for further detail regarding the 1.0-> 1.1 improvements,  please see
