Hi Yves and Felix,

Thanks for highlighting this. Implementing ITS-awareness in my xliffRoundTrip Tool has been a long-running goal. (and who knows, since I recently implemented my other long-running goal of updating to XLIFF 1.2, maybe now is the time to look at ITS-awareness).

I took a quick look Felix' tool, and it looks promising. Is there some supporting documentation to this page? I was not quite sure what I was looking at. I was able to generate an XLIFF file from a simple file on my desktop (impressive!). I was not quite sure what the ITS support amounted to (probably I could set "yes" or "no" its:translateRule and have that expressed in the XLIFF file?). Also, is there a companion piece that would do the inverse transformation? Or even better, is there a higher level page that explains more about the ITS tool suite?

I'm enthusiastic about learning more about the ITS tools.

Just a short note about another XML to XLIFF 1.2 generic tools that uses XSLT like xliffRoundTrip.

Felix Sasaki (CCed) did some work on his earlier version (a more simple "ITS-decorator") and has made some enhancements so there is
way to output XLIFF now. You can see the tools here: http://fabday.fh-potsdam.de/~sasaki/its/

This may be a good project to look at for implementing any ITS-awareness of xliffRoundTrip.
