Subject: RE: XLIFF 2.0 Comments - 2.3.1.11 dispEnd
This could be just a misunderstanding on my part, but I was confused by the example in section 2.3.1.11 dispEnd: <unit id="1"> <segment> <source>Example of <pc id="1" dataRefStart="d1" dataRefEnd="d2" dispStart="<span>" dispEnd="</span>">formatted text</pc>.</source> </segment> <originalData> <data id="d1">\cf1\ul\b\f1\fs24 </data> <data id="d2">\cf0\ulnone\b0\f0\fs22 </data> </originalData> </unit> The friendly display for a series of rtf codes seems to be html <span> tags. I’m not sure how seeing “<span>” helps me understand the codes are originally rtf codes… Thanks, Ryan |
